Brandon Michael Vayda Brawl

Brandon Michael Vayda Brawl

'90210' Actor in Vicious Hollywood Street Brawl.

One of the guys from the new "90210" series pulled a guy out of a taxi cab and beat the living crap out of him this weekend -- and the whole thing was caught on tape.

It all went down outside of MyHouse nightclub, when a group of guys including Brandon Michael Vayda -- who plays Mike on the show -- got into a screaming match with another group of guys over something that was probably stupid and meaningless.

All of a sudden, a couple of guys from each group began throwing punches at each other while Vayda stood and watched. But moments later, after the other group retreated, Vayda stormed into a taxi, and threw several elbows and punches at one of the guys.

Vayda managed to take the guy out of the cab and onto the ground, where he continued to rain down on the guy with a flurry of bombs to the face.

Eventually, the fight was broken up. No arrests were made.

Cruel Intentions

Cruel Intentions

Single Movie Alert!
"Cruel Intentions"

Starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillipe

This modern-day version of "Dangerous Liason," depicting posh "Gossip Girl"-esque teenage socialites who lie, cheat, and buy their way into the underpants of poor Catholic school girl, Reese Whitherspoon.

Watching Phillipe and Witherspoon in their first flick together is fun and yet slightly exciting at the same time.

Seeing Witherspoon overacting before her Oscar days? Priceless.

Nevada Unemployment

Nevada UnemploymentNevada Unemployment Rises to 10.1% in February.

New numbers released Friday morning show more than one in ten Nevadans was unemployed in February.

The unemployment rate now stands at 10.1%, according to the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation.

That rate is nearly double what it was for Nevada in February of 2008 and puts the state on par with California's unemployment rate in January of this year.

The unemployment rate was even higher in the Reno-Sparks area. It climbed to 11.2%. Carson City had some of the worst rates in the state at 11.3%. Las Vegas faired relatively well with an unemployment rate of 10.1% last month. Since September the state has lost 50,000 jobs.

Nevada Senator Harry Reid released a statement Friday morning in response to the rising unemployment rate.

Senator Reid called the numbers "part of a troubling trend that makes it all too clear that we can't do too much to dig our state out of this economic hole," and urged Nevada leaders to "waste no time in accepting the unemployment assistance [Nevada] secured in the economic recovery package."

Reid pledged to continue work in the Senate to get the economy back on track.

Los Angeles police have arrested a choreographer featured on the FOX television show "So You Think You Can Dance" on suspicion of sexually assaulting four of his dance students.

Detectives say the alleged assaults occurred between May 2003 and March 28. The female accusers told police Da Silva lured them to his homes in North Hollywood and Van Nuys, used a ruse to get them into his bedroom and raped them.

It's not immediately known whether the 41-year-old Da Silva has retained an attorney. The voicemail for a phone number posted on his Web site was full and wouldn't accept messages.
