Some Pinellas County residents were shocked Tuesday when 30 catfish were spotted taking a stroll in their subdivision. Apparently, the fish walk by using pectoral fins and can still live outside water as long as surfaces stay wet.
According to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission scientist Paul Shafland, walking catfish have been in the state since the 1960s.
